Help me unlock 1.2v on Asus GTX 570 DCUII and keep SLI

Thread Starter
Hi guys Ive done a few google searches couldnt find anything so Ill have too make a thread too ask.

Someone kindly modded my BIOS for me, and I updated and everything ran smoothly and now I have 1.2v available on my gtx 570s.

However SLI option has disappeared in the NCP, I reinstalled my drivers still no luck, then I updated too the 280.26 driver (I previously had 280.19) and still no luck. In my device manager it says one of my cards has an error, code 43. I used driver cleaner pro when changing drivers.

How do I go about enabling SLI? Thanks for your help guys.

I will test both my cards one at a time, in the mean time. Thanks in advance

EDIT: Individually my cards run perfectly, its just im missing out on the SLI function of my cards. I am REALLY wanting too get my name into the top 30 heaven benchmarks, I can get ~2280 with 1.1v and I need too get 2405+ too get in

Yeah I used the SLI bridge.

Hi capwn I do have my bios backed up, and I used the following procedure.

So I used NVTurboFlash, and UltraISO, and I used a formatted USB stick.

I can confirm both cards are working by themselfs, but just not in SLI

right click and disable the card that has error 43 and re-enable it, I was having this problem and everytime I did that sli started working again until I restarted and had to disable/re-enable again. only way I was able to fix it was re-install windows, yeah I probably could have fixed it with some troubleshooting but I just got my 480's in and wanted to play!!!

I got hold of another bios, it was a asus gtx 570 one, and this one i was able to edit with nibitor, and then i saved it (green integrity) and when trying too flash it just said "didnt find a match" or something like that...

Maybe asus dcuii bios is difference then a asus reference bios?

That is a possibility because I believe (actually I know) the Asus DCII 570 uses a different voltage regulation chip than the reference card.

Thank you for this info.

So that will be why nibitor recognises the asus one I used, but it doesnt recognise the bios file I got through a GPU-z dump. I can mod the downloaded one, however it doesnt recognise my gpu-z dump one so your definately right.

Does anyone know how I can mod a Asus DCUII gtx 570 bios too allow 1.213 maximum voltage? our above member Capwn has done this for me already, he did a mod of my own bios file but it seems the sli integrity wasnt good, my cards only run individually and they can go up too 1.200v, however I cannot enable SLI with them he suggested I do it with another bios, but the only one I could find seems to have been a reference model. *another sad face*

I will change my thread name hopefully more people will be able too help me.

I tried too go back too previous bios, the screen simply goes black and I hear 3 quick beeps. I have too pres ctrl+alt+delete too restart my system, then i can boot fine.

So now I have no SLI, and I cannot go too previous bios...
