Hi i'm thinking about upgrading my gtx 560 ti max crysis 2 GPU to either a ASUS GTX 580 DCU2 or EVGA GTX 590 Classified, (will be going completely water cooled and money is not an issue) or should i just wait until the release of the 600 series? if anyone have any preference between the two and have benchmarked tested each one of them and know which is better let me know please would love to hear some suggestions from you guys.

The GTX 590 is a dual GPU card (two in one). If money is not an issue, go with that one. You get almost twice the horsepower for a bit more cash.

Get a reference eVGA 580 1.5gb and strap an EK block on it.

My buddy got 1Ghz out of his with 1.2v with this set up. I'm not saying you'll get that speed, but reference cards are enough to get high clocks using water.

for your samsung monitor, 590 is way overkill, a 580 would do you just fine, but if you want to watercool, avoid the asus dcii for a reference card

I'm replacing my current monitors with the same ones you're using but triple screen instead of a single, it's already on its way but would you still recommend a reference 580 for a triple monitor?

Two reference GTX 580 3gb for that resolution.

The eVGA 3gb versions can still fit with the EK block for reference 580s(1.5gb version)

thanks a lot for the help, and I'll most likely lean towards the evga probably because it's slightly cheaper than buying 2x 580s and water blocks for it lol, hopefully it won't be a bad decision on my part.

Thanks for the help everyone +1 to all

Just keep in mind with Nvidia you need either a dual GPU card like the GTX590 or two single GPU cards like two GTX580's to be able to run three monitors.

I really don't understand spending 600 for an EK 580 when the 590 is a hundred dollars more. Even at 1Ghz its not going to catch a 590
