questions about parts for water cooling

Thread Starter
Hi guys,

I am new to the water cooling system. I wish to fit a water cooling system on my current computer in few months time. I was wondering what parts should I get? no budget. I require high quality parts.

[sorry for my bad English]

There is no full cover block for your graphic card yet, so cooling the cpu is probably the one things for you right now....

Get 1/2" bitspower barbs and 7/16" ID Tygon tubing. Tygon is the best and the slightly tighter inner diameter means you don't need ugly clamps

barb sizes are dependant on the ID of the tube, so if youre using 3/8 ID / 5/8 OD tubing, standard barbs designed to accomodate 3/8 tubing like this

http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/big1mabldi38.html

simply require hose clamps bigger than 5/8 inch to work perfectly. most hose clamps are bigger than 5/8 inch OD tubing unless your looking at miniature clamps, and can be tightened up to accomodate 5/8 inch OD tubing. although these arent a more universal fit, theyll be great for your tubing

http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/heclnyhocl0t2.html

hopefully someone else can help with clamps, since ive only ever run comp fittings, but nothing jumps at me saying they wont work

so does it mean the tube is slightly smaller?
