i5 2500k overclock not showing up in OS?

Thread Starter
Is it normal for i5 2500k processor overclocks not to show up in Windows 7? CPU-Z still says 3.3ghz.

My memory has to be ran with XMP enabled to get to 1600mhz which means it overclocks my CPU to 3.7ghz.

When I right click on "Computer" in Windows and select properties it shows it at 3.6ghz.

lol im so confused

was it overclocked before you installed windows? try clearing Cmos and redoing it.
