1) Would you guys suggest getting that additional fan linked in the OP or one of the Gentle Typhoons since they're about the same price?

2) Anyone know if this will fit the P8Z68-V mobo? The cpu socket is real close to the ram slots.

Directron shipping to me is only $6.20 for UPS ground. Seems like a sweet deal! I'm seriously considering this.

I almost guarantee you, the newegg responses are mostly inaccurate. There's so many dumb reviews stating that they are getting high temps, but that because they installed it wrong. I even saw some first builders forget the thermal compound and get extremely high temps. I have several Scythe coolers and they all perform well. DON'T LISTEN TO NOOB REVIEWS!!!

My response: My 1055T doesn't get even get to 50C with a 212+ at 3.7GHz. It also seems like he bought an open box item.

"Pros: None"
My response: The title for his review is "Greater cooler, but WAY too big for my build." This guy contradicts himself. He didn't do enough research to figure out how big this cooler really is and gives a poor review because of that.

"To be nice as I can the cooler does not perform well at all. I could safely say the cooler performs just barely better than a stock cooler."
My response: This guy either compared idle temperatures OR he put the cooler on without thermal paste.

GEEEZ...

/rant
trolle.. or you mean 50c at idle

It's been $69.99 for a long time on Directron which comes to about $75-$77 shipped for most people. (the D14)

I think it may quite possibly be, but I haven't had the chance to put the two side-by-side.
