Heya guys, I've currently got an ATI HD4890(asus voltage unlocked version) and I'm looking to upgrade.

Got between £130-150 to spend, not sure what to go for.

I'm british so if you were to post a link please could it be from a .co.uk domain?

Thank you, Mikey.

depends, if you're selling your hd 4890 and then buying a new card, you should be able to get a decent hd 68xx+ card so yea...now lets see. I prefer amazon so here's the link to the card you should get:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/VTX3D-Radeon-6950-PCI--Graphics/dp/B004ULFWAI/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1313528805&sr=8-2]VTX3D 1GB Radeon HD 6950 PCI-E 2.0 Graphics Card: Amazon.co.uk: Computers & Accessories[/URL]

or just crossfire this one so you'll have to buy two of these...also one thing, i'm not sure myself but i've heard that crossfiring two similar cards don't provide 200% performance so lets say if your first card performs 100%, your second card would add 50% more into it or so but 2 hd 6770 out performs 1 hd 6950

A benchmark comparing hd 6870 and hd 6950...also DO NOT get geforce, they are overpriced and don't really benefit much...

To be honest I'd stick with your 4890 a little longer (until HD 7000). Your current card is comparable to a 5850 and that's already at around 6870 level of performance, it would be an even trade at best. I know you probably hate to hear this, but that's my

I'm an AMD fanboy? Are you high? Take a look at the card in my sig rig, which replaced another Nvidia card...

Let me sum it up for you: if you have some cash to burn, go ahead and feel free to do so. Don't expect much of an upgrade from your current card.

This is roughly the performance you'll get for your budget. If you're gonna upgrade, in my opinion, save some more money (£200 at least) and go 560 ti/6950 or whatever the hell else you want, which will be a lot more worthwhile at higher resolutions at least.

It depends, there are many good brands for graphics card.

The mainstream (well-known) brands are : Asus, eVGA, Gigabyte, MSi. But there are a lot of other good brands...

Just post the ebay links, we'll point you to the best deal.

Wait for the 7xxx series, save up an extra 50-100 and buy a top dog again should last you a while again before you'll need to upgrade.

Or, try and buy someone's 5870 from this site. Not mine though, I need mine. haha.

How much would I be able to get for my HD4890? Roughly.
