Tomorrow's Mobile Computing

I see changes coming, needed changes, where computer users focus is more on mobile, where gadgets get more versatile...

Blootooth headsets, with good sound & a good camera, and it would work like a phone with one of these...

Already we have Tablets & higher quality Ultra-Think Laptops.

Now thanks to AMD, with the Llano Processor we have amazing mobile computers today, wow!

In my vision of the future you see people holding tablets which may be the all in one PC (Windows 8?), though the keyboard & mouse would requires you to sit down still to be productive, so I don't really see Desktops PCs ever diminishing out of existence, though you could probably just dock your Tablet so that you could use a keyboard & mouse, where the tablet suddenly just became a monitor and not a touchscreen thing.

Touchscreen gaming could take off too though, who knows...

I don't know exactly where we are headed in mobile computer but the outlook so far looks nice!

Your thoughts?

They should focus on battery life more. If we had newer generation batteries we could actually use our stuff instead of carrying a charger everywhere. Wireless power could work, but I'm good on radiation.

+1. Max battery life before adding more stuff for the devices out to do. Already duel cores, higher Res screens and talks of duel gpu for phones that already struggle to get through the day.

As stuff become more micro & processors use less wattage I think we will start to see good enough performance with 8+ hour battery life, I think there are some netbooks with like 10+ hours out there now. But we all know how weak netbooks are, unfortunately.
