Not for long mind you, but it wouldn't surprise me if their response time shattered the standard participants.
I was diagnosed with ADD as a kid and taking medication I had no appetite and acted out. I can multitask better than anyone i know. I almost buy into the whole government trying to bring us down onto the same level with medication and foods

Yeah it can be a *****. Depression can cause many things. Depending on why you are feeling "down", as well as the type. Good thing your doing ok now, though it can be a real pain.

ARRRR It took me forever to find the info I wanted, double checking my memory on myelination. So now I'm making a new post.

If you wanted to "overclock" your brain you would want to increase the myelinated neurons as well as use a stimulant. However you'd have to genetically re-code your brain, most likely done at birth (unless you get into heavy genetic manipulation). Most of the neruons in your brain are unmyelinated, though they are short so it's not a "big" issue. Obviously not a "big" issue, we can function with rather decent speed.
