Help me find a non-gamer looking case - Page 3

I would second and third the shinobi, as it's hard to beat at that price. I got two of them and like them very much. Get the windowed one if you want all of the easy install tools for the drives and such.

This is the reason i chose Fractal... looks amazing, sleek, simple and fits 20lbs of crap in a 10lb limit box . you can lead a horse to water...

Seriously would look into Lian Li and Lancool cases, whilst there are a few ones with coloured lights, alot of them don't and most of them do look quite professional while still providing optimum cooling.
I completely agree with this and I'm a HAF owner lol. I also agree with Lian Li and Lancool and would add Fractal to that list like I linked on the first page.

+1 for the Fractals (Core 3000, R3, Arc Midi); they're prob going to be one of your better bets for the price-range specified.
They have the look of more expensive cases, but aren't unibody/aluminum chasis - so they're lower cost.

I'd also recommend the Dragonlord series from Lancool (aka Lian Li's steel cases):

The cheaper no LED fans version:

The more expensive, a little bit flashier version:

Cause it has issues compared to other sub $100 cases, out of which i'll mention:
- the cables from the top plastic cover are glued into place so each time you dismantle the case for cleaning, installing fans w/e you have to disconect all the cables.....
- the PSU dust filter is not removable (quite frankly it's more of a mesh than a dust filter)
- the HDD caddies are no good at preventing vibrations
- small space behind the mobo tray, hard to make WM for non modular PSU
................

The 690 II is a good option if you have a modular PSU, your mechanical 3,5" drive is quiet and if you add a few more fans or intend to install water blocks.....otherwise i'd look elsewhere.

If the Dragonlords are in your category of "gamer cases" my friend you def. need to spend more than $100 on a plain bare metal or all aluminium case.

Good luck.
