Did I just brick my Thunderbolt?

Alright so this morning I decided I wanted to try Cyanogen mod. I was running Das Bamf and all but I wanted stock android. So I go through the proper flashing system and all, wiped data, cleared cache, cleared dalvik cache, flashed new ROM. All is well, except I wanted my data, I read on xda that you an just use a backup restore and choose to only restore your data in ROM manager. So i went into ROM manager and went to restore backup, it didnt give me an option for only data but i figured it would do that later. Well I started the restore process and left my phone running next to me since it was taking a while. I just look back at it and the screen is black except for a dialogue box that says "Sorry! Process system is not responding." And then I can either Force Close or Wait, clicking on either option does nothing. I took out the battery and tried to restart the phone and its the same thing. Tried restarting into recovery and it doesn't let me.

But it is bricked? It does the whole boot thing, shows the Green "HTC" on white background, then it has a grey "HTC Quietly Rooted" screen on black, then it has the red "Das B.A.M.F Thunderbolt" on a thundercloud background. Can't try to warranty since it clearly states its rooted. Anyone know how to fix this?

Son there are two diff bricks. a HARD brick. Where it literally wont turn on or anything, (doesnt boot AT ALL ) ... Then there is a softbrick, missing or broken OS.. You can fix this.

Quoted for truth. You'll be able to fix your phone, just do some digging on xda.

Are you sure it isn't just dead from being messed with all day? Try letting it charge for a while.

I recommend going to the thunderbolt sub-forum on XDA. You will most likely find the solution there.
