The one thing I don't like about the fibre network is that there is only one (crap) company, virgin, that provides cable broadband where you get throttled speeds unless you opt for the pricier packages.

Well, this in my area anyway, do you guys down south have alternatives to virgin?

I believe the only other option is the BT (forget what the fibre pack is called)...
