[bf3blog]Complete BF3 weapons list - Page 18

In bf2 weren't carbrines for the special forces class that had the c4? I know in bf2 recon didn't.

Is it like that in BF3? Which sniper is the bolt action?

Tired of seeing old weapons like the g3

Yeah... the M16/M4/AR15/any AR variant doesn't kick very hard at all.

And this really REALLY needs to be said...

ARs (M16 and family) are reliable, AK47s are accurate. All depends on how well you maintain it. Are ARs more finicky than AKs? Sure. If you want to make any further assertions, do a google search or join AR15.com. There are some guys who run their rifles absolutely ragged without cleaning anything out.

QFT. I'm even biased against Eugene Stoner's rifles because I hate the direct gas impingement action and will still admit that any of the M-series carbines still perform admirably when it comes to reliability. Minus the Vietnam era ones with no forward assist, those were just a piece of useless jamming hardware because they were issuing dirty ball ammo to GIs at that point.

AK's are nowhere near as inaccurate as people seem to believe, especially if you put a few dollar into it. Because they cost much less than ARs you can even out the price difference and really have a naildriver. However some of the AKs with incredibly low production tolerances are usually beyond making more accurate to a point. It's fun to watch them fire in slow motion as the front half of the rifle flexes.

Also, don't bash the G3, 7.62x51 is an amazing round and G3s are generally incredibly reliable and effective rifles. Then again I love FALs much more than them, but still, the love is there.

This list is a bit inaccurate. If you watch the gamescom MP trailer you can clearly see the words "M16A3" at 54 seconds. (M16A3 is an M16 full-auto variant used by the USMC) which was probably changed because the M16 they had was full auto but called the A4 anyway.

Anyone who mentions this games should have police weapons i.e. USP, MP5 etc... yeah.

The weapons represented is a realistic representation of the guns used by armies. This isn't COD. The British Army isn't involved so no SA80 / L85A1.
