ABS Plastic cover over motherboard? - Page 2

Well. Got the plastic. the ABS would have been terrible! It was really flimsy and it just felt like it'd melt at low temps. Glad I got the Garolite. The big problem with cutting the garolite was that it split a few times. Probably because I used a terrible blade on a jigsaw but oh well. Still got the job done.

I was unable to get the plastic all the way over the Gfx card. It just bulged out too far and I couldn't get the gfx card in the slot. So I had to cut it in half basically. The pic doesn't do justice. It looks pretty good. Gotta get a new screw for the one, and yes I did cut a wrong hole... thanks

Garolite covering the motherboard, my original idea.

End result. Yes, I also know I cant cut straight. It looks alot better than that in person. Guess the camera can be deceptive.
I like it!

Vent on the case is like uber small. It'd burn up so fast. Probably get 1/10th the airflow of what it gets now. Basically the only con of my case...

Well...Looks like heat may be an issue...

I'm looking at my TMPIN temps from hwmonitor. My TMPIN0 & 2 after gaming max at 33 & 46C. Cause of concern is maybe the TMPIN1 temp, when I got done gaming it was 55C... Now I don't know the max temps or 'safe' temperatures of the motherboard. Seems like its a little high...
I'm looking and
TMPIN0 = system (system what?)
TMPIN1 = CPU (even though my other hwmonitor CPU temps don't go above 44C)
TMPIN2 = Northbridge

If thats correct then I should be fine. I also heard that they're mosfet temperatures but no one can confirm that... I might try gaming without the garolite and see what I get...
