I don't think the card is dead entirely. Let it dry for a long while (and I mean days, not hours) before you trash it

I don't know. I guess some people don't feel comfortable sticking paper clips into their stuff.. I personally used to use a paper clip.. but one came with my rasa kit aswell, so I just use that.

You can mod yours with a switch so you don't have to flip the switch on the psu. Also, some psu's don't have a switch like my silverstone and antec tpq, which is really freaking annoying tbh so a switch on the psu starter is cool.

Meh, after seeing the results with water cooling, even after this mistake, even If I am going to lose this 580.. I'm still going to stick with water cooling..

Especially since this was completely avoidable and caused completely by me.. If everything is done right and you take your time, no problems will occur..

This time I went against my #1 rule and that is taking your time.. If I would have just taken one good look at the fan I could of realized this mistake way before it happened..

Lesson learned.

addicted indeed

Now just to wait for the new Rad on Friday and I will be able to get the train rolling again..

And I think this time I'll LOOK at how far I'm turning the damn screw in, and how damn thick the fan is itself.
