Should I upgrade to an x6 1100t?

Thread Starter
Okay... After my birthday I'm going to buy a new graphics card, but I'm also thinking about upgrading my CPU aswell(I have the x4 965 BE, and I'm upgrading mainly because of BF3 and Skyrim).

If I do buy the CPU I'm probably going for a gtx 570, but if I decide to stay with the CPU I already have I might probably buy a gtx 580...

So I wonder if it's actually worth getting the x6 1100t and is it better for gaming?
I'll take it!

No it isn't better for gaming. Not only are they based on the same architecture, but most gaming applications aren't multi-threaded so you aren't going to see any improvement.

Stay with your current gpu, and go 580...or wait for BD to be released (requires AM3+ board)...or wait for new gpu architecture at the end of the year.

Really does it support Bulldozer? It's an AM3 motherboard and Bulldozer requires AM3+
