No, what he means by slimline is that every PCI card has a less-wider bracket than a normal PCI card. Therefore, NOT all graphics cards will work in his system.

Graphics card choices are VERY limited for slimline PCs. This is probably the best you can get for your PC, but don't expect to be playing games on Maximum with this, but it may play most games on low/medium settings. MW2 should play on high with this, as I have read in a review of this card model (EVGA edition).
ASUS Brand (no fan, large heatsink) [ame="http://www.amazon.com/PCI-Express-EN8400GS-SILENT-512MD2-LP/dp/B004I8W4UY/ref=pd_cp_e_4"]Amazon.com: ASUS nVidia GeForce 8400GS Silent 512MB DDR2 VGA/DVI/HDMI Low Profile PCI-Express Video Card EN8400GS SILENT/DI/512MD2(LP): Electronics[/ame]

EVGA Brand with fan [ame="http://www.amazon.com/EVGA-PCI-Express-Graphics-Warranty-512-P3-1300-LR/dp/B004BQKQ8A/ref=dp_cp_ob_e_title_2"]Amazon.com: EVGA GeForce 8400 GS 512 MB DDR3 PCI-Express 2.0 Graphics Card with 2 Year Limited Warranty 512-P3-1300-LR: Electronics[/ame]

Credit to whoever finds a better card than this that will fit slimline PCs

What you need is a low profile card.

Best one ive seen so far is a palit gts450. Here's a newegg link: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ImageGallery.aspx?CurImage=14-261-078-Z01&SpinSet=14-261-078-RS&ISList=14-261-078-Z01%2c14-261-078-Z02%2c14-261-078-Z03%2c14-261-078-Z04%2c14-261-078-Z05%2c14-261-078-Z06&VSList=14-261-078-V01%2c14-261-078-V02%2c14-261-078-V03%2c14-261-078-V04%2c14-261-078-V05&S7ImageFlag=1&Item=N82E16814261078&Depa=0&WaterMark=1&Description=Palit%20NE5S4500F0601%20GeForce%20GTS%20450%20%28Fermi%29%201GB%20128-bit%20GDDR5%20PCI%20Express%202.0%20x16%20HDCP%20Ready%20Low%20Profile%20Ready%20Video%20Card

This should fit in the bracket, but might be too long for the case. If It wont fit, or the power supply isn't beefy enough to supply it, then there are a few less powerful cards like gt430's and 210's.

That gts450 is probably the fastest half height card you can get.

this is going to be a tough one as you have less than 10 inches of room and low profile

Package includes a low-profile bracket.

Edit: If you think your case can handle the heat output, and the PSU is up to the task, go for the Palit GTS450 card instead.

I know there are low-profile 5750's. Newegg is sold out of them, but if you can find one, either that or if you can find the Palit GTS450, which newegg also sold out of, but those would be your best choices IMO. I'll see if I can find one somewhere that isn't ridiculously priced.
