Help me with my real strange problem

Im playing White gold war in paradise.Im using this settings:
1280x1024
All setting maxed out
AA off

and here is a sample of fraps benchmark:

Frames, Time (ms), Min, Max, Avg
365, 10530, 27, 41, 34.663

In most of the time the fps is 30 and above. But some times it went down to 27-28.Its below standard. But the strange thing is that i changed resolution to 800x600.The game became like shi* but the fps was same as 1280x1024!
Isnt it strange?
So what is the problem?Do you think that 27 FPS in some areas can prevent a prefect gameplay?

Your OP is a little difficult to understand, but those framerates seem fairly normal for the card you are using. You shouldn't expect to max out games on a GT 240, even with that low resolution. Turning down the resolution probably doesn't have very much of an effect because that card, while slow, has plenty of VRAM.

You may want to try turning down other settings or possibly invest in a decent card. You could buy one secondhand here that'll spank your card for under 70 or 80 bucks.

Thanks body but the recommended gpu for this game is 8800 gt and according to 3dmark 05 my oc gt 240 is as fast as 8800 gts.And about settings i choosed the lowest but nothing changed. So is this an own game problem?I mean faulty engine or something.
Plus i already maxed out many games likeuke Nukem forever-far cry 2-stalker call of pripyat and...and none of them had this problem. In all of them FPS was 30 and above.

Recommended doesn't necessarily mean you're going to get 60+ fps at all times. And the 8800gts is slower than the 8800gt by a fair amount.

Well according to this:

8800 gts is faster than 8800 gt.And when i compared mys 3dmark score with this:

My oc Gt 240 is faster than a oc 8800 gts.
Anyway i set the quality at medium. The resolution is still 1280x1024.And here is the new fraps result:

Frames, Time (ms), Min, Max, Avg
14010, 270075, 33, 62, 51.874

And i still beliave that the game is unoptimized.Apart from gpu the game is madly cpu intensive.Even more than GTA IV.And it is almost unplayable on any dual core setup.

Thanks man.+rep for you.

The 8800 GTS was released as a slower version of the 8800 GT, it is intended to be slower.

It is very possible the game is poorly optimized. Many PC games are, though being CPU intensive is not necessarily an indicator of a poorly optimized game.

Glad your problem was solved, if you have this problem again in the future with a different game then you are going to want to do the same thing. Your GT 240 shouldn't have much trouble with differing resolutions.
