Hi Guys.

I'm starting to get into the photography business and I want something more then a point and shoot so I decided to go DSLR.

My budget and my town/country availability lead me into this 2 cameras. Surfing the webz I see they have their pros and cons but I'm still on the wall.

Can somebody give me a light?

Thanks!

Go to a local store and try out both in your hands, see which feels better. With entry-level cameras, the differences between Canon and Nikon are mostly splitting hairs.

if you are getting started in the photo business i would suggest you to get a higher end camera. something along the lines of a d7000 or 7d at the minimum, cause if you buy a entry level camera you are only wasting money since you WILL NEED a better body sooner rather then later.

This.

If you have the budge, buy a "high end" camera.

D7000 is a good choice.

i heard the canon xsi and t1i are both good beginner cameras. the xsi is cheaper and might be better for you. because you can spend the money you saved on lenses.

It costs 5 times as much where I live. I don't have that kinda cash . I don't want to be professional. I just think it's a nice hobby to get out outside.

Go for a used/refurb T2i.. much better camera than the T3 That should hold you over until you really understand photography.. at which point you'll probably have the money for a 7D/5D2
