that link should bring you to the reviews im referring to heres a few

"Cons: First major problem I noticed the day I set it up - for some reason any tiny static discharge to the front I/O ports will cause the system to reset, and this happens almost all the time if you don't ground yourself deliberately. It's a scary problem when it's hosting a thousand bucks of brand new equipment. I was told by CM to put in a part request, and three months (!) later I recieved a replacement I/O panel that had the exact same problem. I've been told they're working on a solution now. Until there is one I cannot reccommend this case. (I've also heard rumors of the same problem on other CM cases.) If yours doesn't have this problem, consider yourself lucky - I'm not alone in this."

"Cons: Front I/O panel has a grounding issue that will restart the PC when any static electricity is discharged on it."

"Cons: Somewhat on the big and heavy side.
Front I/O panel static discharge problems (see below).

Other Thoughts: Unfortunately, problems with the front I/O panel ruin what otherwise seems to be a very nice case. The panel appears to be improperly shielded or have some other static discharge problem, because plugging in a USB thumb drive, headphones, speakers, game controller, etc. will often result in a sudden system restart.

Grounding the device you're plugging in by touching the metal back of the case prevents this sometimes, but not 100%.

This appears to be a common issue with various models Cooler Master case models lately. Just search for "HAF922 front panel shutdown" in Google and you'll find hardware discussion forum threads about the problem.

Sadly, there appears to be nothing I can do about it unless I want to fool around with various jury-rigged grounding methods involving anti-static pads and extra wires or RMA either the panel or the whole case and fight with CM to send me a new one...and even then, how do I know the replacement will work right?"

Well let me tell you I have a pretty dry room full of carpets and never encountered this problem... If it was an issue experienced by more people than I would've already heard about it and this is the first time I ever heard that.

Is your room particularly dry and do you have carpets?

Yeah, umm.... I've never encountered that problem either, but your the buyer, so it's completely your choice. BTW, It's dry almost 90% of the time here, and my whole room is carpet...

I personally would still recommend this case to you since I honestly don't think it will happen to you at all.

The HAF 922 has, and has had a VERY good reputation, after all, I love it myself!
