Hey guys, I picked up a H100 recently and would like to share my results. Not as impressive as I would have liked but, I haven't heard these fans at 100% even on the Performance setting :/ anyways,

4.0GHz @ 1.160v on the H70

What exactly were you expecting? Those are my gaming temps on air @ 4.0 w/ 1.24v and HT off!

I think you've def. sold me on a H100 now LOL. Was going to get one anyway, but never was quite sure of the temp differences, but if you SB 4.5 can get under 60C I think my 4.0 i7-950 will be nice and chilly, maybe i can even turn HT back on!

I mean it's a good cooler, I'd still like to bench it with the fans on full blast. I had a hard time deciding on getting it since there were no reviews at the time. Glad I could help! smile.gif

I just came from an H70 too and I'm seeing 5-8 degrees less depending on the core at 5 GHz and Prime95 Blend. This is using the stock fans on the H100 set to extreme.

I just grabbed the H100 from newegg for $99 shipped. Cant wait to test it out. I was tired of the big bulky silver air coolers in my case.

Right now I have and H70 with 2 Ultra Kaze 3K's on push pull. I am wondering whether this will be better or worse than an H100 with stock fans on push.

Not enough room to make the H100 push pull let alone with 4 ultra Kaze 3k's.

The stock fans are good, I have them connected to the pump so they only ramp up when under pressure. I'll bypass the pump and have them at full speed and post my temps in a bit.

Edit: I haven't heard them ramp up yet..

Sadly, yesterday the H100's pump started making a LOUD high pitched noise, figured it was air bubbles. Shaked it gently while running and ran it on its side for 2 - 3 hours no go. The noise is louder than all of my case fans. I decided to go get it exchanged before the unthinkable happens.
