Noone knows if he's gotten in touch with corsair george, believe it or not, im pretty sure corsair george doesn't live on OCN, or only monitor OCN.

i do agree its a bit careless for the OP to attempt to use his hardware after the incident happened. Treat it like getting into a car accident, until all the damage is documented b the cops,, do not touch or move the car.
I agree about the PC parts but not the car accedent part... If you get cut off crash your car and wait for the police you will get charged. If you tow it to the reporting center you will not be charged I know this first hand in Canada anyway..

I am waiting to se how this gets resolved but I was amazingly surprised with Corsair's customer service when I called about my 800D.

Long story short - I bought a used 800D that had a few missing and some broken parts. I called Corsair up, spoke to a rep and honestly explained that I bought a used case but it wasn't really usable at this point so I wanted to buy the replacement parts. He proceeded to walk me through each section of the case and tell him the condition (and existence) of parts. At the end of the call I asked how much it would be and he said that Corsair would cover all of it. I can't remember now but I recieved 8-9 replacement parts free of charge. I was amazed.

what's a reporting center?

If you crash your car and it is disabled, you are not gonna move it until the police come and write up a report.

If you move it, you're giving the insurance companies a loophole.
They can claim they can't determine what EXACTLY was the extent of the damage and who's at fault as the crime scene/accident scene was "tampered" or changed.

I'm just playing devil's advocate here ofcourse.

Rare that this happens and all cases I've heard of Corsair replaced all damaged parts.

Also, in places like British Columbia where insurance is a de facto (if not de jure) government monopoly, they often require police reports if damage is estimated above a certain value.

Pretty sure corsair uses antifreeze, anticorrosion, and water in their loops since they use aluminum radiators. Thats why its milky and not clear, if this was straight distilled nothing probably would have happened.
