help :'O ... i dont think its the mic because even when the mic was disabled there is still a lot of static... RMA?

That is normal. Anything maxed will produce more THD (total harmonic distortion)

oh... so it is normal for static to be produced when headsets are maxed out? and i have noticed something... the static is only produced when im on a video in youtube... even with the video paused... i still hear the static... anyone know whats happening?

try new batteries

mute windows sounds and see if the headset still makes static at full volume

can you use it wired?
