How to download Windows 7 off USB

Thread Starter
I need to download Windows 7 on a clean drive, so I created a bootable USB Drive and booted my sig rig into bios. I went the the advanced bios thing and went to the boot priority and the first was a Generic Usb ?? I tried booting off this and it does not work. I went to my laptop and got this.

Look for the name of your flash drive under the hard drive section of your BIOS. It should be located under boot order section. For example, my flash drive is Kingston, so it should say Kingston. (Some BIOS only allow the first hard drive to be booted. You may need to change that to your flash drive).

Also did you make your flash drive bootable? Windows 7 USB/DVD Tool already makes your drive bootable.

Works like a charm. I use the USB all the time to install Windows on to computers. So much faster than DVD.
