Sounds promising. I must try this.

Edit: Oh, wow, it does work fairly well. I got a rounded off edge on half the outside surface and an appropriate part sticking out on the other side, but it looks clean otherwise. Very easy to trim, too. Much straighter than I get with regular cutting.

i use garden secateurs and they work really well really just any large and strong cutting tool will do

I used a sharp chefs knife and something to cut on, worked awesome, no trimming needed, straight/flat cuts etcetcetc
