Goliathus Speed?

Thread Starter
Looking to get a new mouse pad with less friction than the QCK+ Heavy and a Puretrak Talent. I have the Goliathus Control edition with the dimples on it that makes it feel like you are using a plastic mouse pad but I need something with a more friction but less than a Puretrak Talent. I was looking at the Speed edition and looks like it is made of the same material maybe but just not textured like the talent?

Anyone have any ideas?

How do you have dimples on goliathus control? I have it and it works rather well imo

Goliathus speed is somewhere between a brand new Talent and QcK. The Talent Slows down over time and I can't really comment on the speed version as I've only used the "Control" thanks to Razer's silly naming scheme.

Yea, I really wish there was a mouse pad that didn't wear in the middle and create more friction over time. It causes a lot of inconsistencies when using the whole mouse pad.

I tried the golaithus speed before and I though it was about the same speed if not slower than my qck. I've heard good things about the zowie gt-f and the shinden kai for speed

The only mousepad I can think of that never wears out is the Steelseries I-1/1-2, which is treated glass. I've had mine for 2 years and I've been consistently using it for hours almost every day and there is no sign of wear. I've had cloth pads and hard pads wear out and slow down over several months but this one is still working as the day I bought it (though it's a little more dirty). Very easy to clean and maintain but it's little pricey. I've tried other pads but they really don't have the smoothness of the icemat.

Do they make a really big one?

Edit: I just forgot I have an old Icemat a friend gave me a while ago. I had removed the colored paint from the back with nail polish remover when he gave it to me so it is completely clear, I love the feel of it, I just wish they made a bigger size. If they do let me know!

The Icemat v2 is slightly bigger than the first version.
