Hi there
We have lans here pretty often, and my brother and i tend to lan a lot together to. But now we have a problem..
We switched over to the dutch provider KPN wich has thomson routers... never had so much problems with a router in my entire life, but anyways
We have a lincsys router downstairs to get more ports (we need 3 there 24/7 -.-") And its a good router for internet..
But now when we want to lan then we get problems with joining each other and stuff.. (We aint connect to the Thomson router anymore at that stage)
So my brother and i are wondering what would be the best thing to do:
-Buy a new router
-Maybe we have out pc settings messed up? (We have given each other static IP's)
So for the new router we have a budget of 100-120 euros (might be slightly more if it really gives a performance boost)
the only thing the router has to do is being a good router for lanning =]
