Need Help Optimizing my 2600k - Page 2

But I want more.... I can't really justify spending another £600 on a new chipset change when I haven't even finished my current rig...

It plays the games I want and loads multiple VM's which is fine I guess.

Costed me 200,- euro to get the stuff and sold the PC for 600,-
In the end my upgrade only costed 200,- euro then

yeah,

I'm not sure it's worth the effort if you've got a 1366 i7 tbh.

I'd rather get my waterloop finished and a new GPU (another 570 )

2* difference but that's only on a 30 min blend :S lol

What im worried about is my Idle temps

for example on my old mobo i was running 4.8ghz w/ht on an asus sabertooth p67 19* idle same load temps lower vcore tho

only differences between now then and now are

ASUS Maximus IV Extreme Z vs. ASUS Sabertooth P67
Corsair 8GB (2x4GB) Dominator GT vs. Corsair 8GB (2x4GB) Vengence
ASUS GeForce GTX 580 DirectCU II vs. Inno3D Gtx 285 (53* idle ftw)

now i idle at 36* lol huge jump
