1090T overclock confirmation.

Thread Starter
I just overclocked my 1090t at speeds that I wanted.

Some of these things im not sure about.

So Im running at 3.7 ghz. at 1.29 vcore.

20x185

The ram overclocked from 1333 mhz to 1600 mhz at stock voltage

Cpu Vcore = 1.29 V
CPU/NB voltage = 1.3 (not sure)
CPU AND CPU/NB LLC = ENABLE (not sure)
CPU NB = 3000 MHZ (not sure)
HT LINK = 2600 MHZ (not sure)

By not sure I mean that I dont know of those numbers are ok. This guy with the same board used those so used it too.

I was wondering if cpu nb 3000 mhz and ht link at 2600 mhz are good?

and what about the cpu/nb voltage.

i dont know what cpu/nb llc is.

I ran prime95 for over 7 hours and had no problems.

Ran memtest86 for 53 minutes and had no errors.

The tempratures are stable too.

The CPU temp didnt go over 54 C (a bit too high for some reason with 1.29 v .) [with prime95]

The core temps stayed around 40 C. [with prime95]

***for some reason the cpu frequency is always at 3.7 ghz even with 0% load.

I think the HT should be at 2000mhz. Don't quote me on this tho. But 3ghz NB is pretty good smile.gif

When I worked on my overclock, getting the nb close to 3000, before upping the mult, gave me a faster working machine. I also used something like 235X17 gave me lower temps + a stable oc rather than 185X21.

What code did it show when you got the BSOD?

I'll have to check, but I think I'm at 1.42v, 3950mhz with load temps about 38*

I wasnt able to read the BSOD screen. It was really fast.

If I use the 235x17 It will mess up my ram frequency.

Was 38*C on the cpu temp or core temps?

If I get more BSOD or crashes Ill mess around a bit more.

I run a multi of 20 with a voltage of 1.416 on my 1090t just over 4ghz. you should leave your HT at 2000 and try to push for 2800-3000 nb I have my board at 3000 with a voltage of 1.3

It's important to know what caused the OC to fail and the code will point you in the right direction.

If you can, take a look at this OCN thread
It talks about frequency, timing and speed. You can change have the frequency be above or below the rated speed if you change the voltage a bit.

I'll check on that tonight. I spent a while getting the OC I liked, but I don't remember all the details!

If you overclock with raising the HTT reference clock(200), did you set your rams properly ? The default ram multi will not work with a modified htt reference clock.
