This makes no difference. who cares if this is not a real replacement ??
To the end user you no longer see the old style "real" bios or navigate the same way as you used to do. weather its the real bios or just a user interface it does the same job as far as im concerned.
My answer is that people who prefer to actually understand how things work instead of having everything dumbed down for the least intelligent amongst us would be the people who "care".
This is like saying that chefs at restaurants have been replaced by the menus. This doesn't matter to the average patron, they will get their meal either way, personally I prefer to be aware of and understand the reality of the situation.
