2500k overclocking help? - Page 2

Go up to 1.22 and try that. I thought stock was 1.28 though, am I wrong guys?

Also, I wouldn't call 60c way to high for 4ghz. Those temps are fine. Mine gets to 78 during prime testing.

Ok I put 1.255 for now because I didn't know how high to go, lol. Temps are alot better though!

Of course I'll let prime run for at least an hour to make sure I'm stable before I try to go any higher

I would actually do a custom test with the 1344 and 1792 fft's for about 20 minutes each. An hour of blend doesn't really assure stability. after that do a 12 hour blend.

I have an issue myself, I hope the OP doesnt mind me posting here!

I just put in the same processor on the board listed below. Though, the UEFI bios doesnt look anything like it did on AMD. I cant find where I raise the FSB. The only thing with similar values to the AMD side of things is the turbo...and when I bumped that to 4.0, it didnt even come on lol.

Once I figured out I accidentally tweaked the turbo, i reset it and now Im trying to find the CPU FSB.

Where in the world is it? How can I get this thing to 4.0? Is it the multiplier? and from 16-33, what do I put it on?

SB overclocking is done with the multi, you increase the multi, then increase the voltage

Any idea what the 4.0 sweetspot would be in terms of multi?
&
where at? There seems to be two. One under AI tweaker (which appears to be turbo only) and Advanced in the BIOS under CPU Configuration>CPU Ratio.
