The game is fun. If you played Black and white two, this is pretty similar except instead of good vs bad its like you have to be good and nature is bad. The controls are actually very similar to B&W2 so if you played that you will be familiar with it. I do remember thinking the controls for B&w were odd at first so perhaps that is part of the OPs issues.

Controls:
The controls are fine.. if you played B&W you will be right at home. I had no issues with the mouse at all.

Graphics:
The graphics are pretty meh. Nothing great, not bad either. Pretty solid mediocre graphics. Nice water effects and DOF. If the FPS is limited to 30 FPS I cant really tell. 60 FPS is not really something you need for this game since most of the time you are just looking down on the world.

Gameplay:
If you have seen the trailers you already know what to expect. Its pretty fun though the $15 dollars price tag is definitely justifyable because the gameplay is not very complex. Still fun, kinda like a simple version of B&W, but with some nature stuff. The point of the game is that you move the little people around from totem pole to totem pole, and there are obsticles inbetween. At each totem pole your villagers will make vegatation happen. I think the vegetation helps the land stay put as other areas of the land seem to change noticably during the duration of a round.

Other:
Game is good. Not great but not something anyone should avoid. If you saw the trailer and though it looked fun, you will probably like it and not be disappointed.

Exactly. Everyone who is complaining in this thread, especially about the graphics, isn't getting the point of the game in the first place.

No. Just no. Stop with this fps/naked eye crap. You can easily notice the difference between 30 fps to 60 fps with a proper 60Hz monitor, just like you can easily notice the difference between 60 fps to 120 fps with a proper 120Hz monitor.

I have stopped buying all Ubisoft titles until they stop using their always on DRM so this was already a pass from me, even after hearing the reports of it being more of a tech demo than a game. I remember even 6 years ago reading the gaming mags, seeing what tripe Ubisoft was peddling and wondering when they would go out of business. Not yet I guess, not yet.

This is a good game if you have an IGPU. (you won't be getting to the 30 fps cap anyways). But the code monkeys and money grubbers over at Ubi killed it.

No one said you cant tell the difference. I said it doesnt matter for this game. You spend most of the time looking down at a pretty still scene. For that reason FPS is not a big issue for this game.

And even if it was a bigger issue, damn people. 30FPS isnt that bad. Its a higher FPS than a movie in a movie theater is, do you avoid seeing movies because the FPS is too low?

If you actually read his post, you wouldn't be saying that nobody said that.

Also, there's a difference between watching a movie and playing a game. If you've actually played a game with 30 FPS and then played with 60 FPS, it's like day and night. The same can be said for 60 FPS vs 120 FPS. Any average PC gamer will tell you the same thing.

So what if there's a difference, 60 FPS is not needed in this game. Complaining about the cap is irrelevant.

Whatever happened to all of the people that complain and say that games nowadays put graphics over gameplay. Here's a game that puts gameplay over graphics, and people complain about FPS locks.

The game is awesome

I dont mind 30 fps as long as it holds 30 fps rock solid and doesn't spike or dip at all
