Yet another rate my PSU

Thread Starter
I am about to by a 2nd 5870. I was wondering if my current PSU has enough juice. The only things that have changed on my Sig build is I'm now running three 25' Hanns G monitors off of one 5870 and overclocked my CPU up to 3.4... Whacha think?

It would be tight, but i think it can run it. It would be best to buy a good 750W because the two 5870's and the processor will probably be drawing more than 620W
EDIT: your rig would draw about 650-700W on full load, so i would suggest getting a 750W
EDIT#2: these psu's would be fine

Ok thanks for the quick feedback. If I am going to buy a new PSU, I'm going to go ahead a get a 1000w or even 1200w for future proofing. Just wanted to see if I could get this new VC and pop it in right away or if I would have to get it and let it sit there until I could get another PSU. Again, thanks for the info

Don't get over a 850W because i can almost guarantee u that unless you go tri-fire or tri sli you will not need a Kilowatt psu.

Also wait until you get the card and see if it will run with the 620W. It may or may not. The worst that will happen is that the psu will shut off from overcurrent protection.

You're fine, you don't need to upgrade. You won't be drawing more than 550W during stress testing, 450-500W during games.

you got a good psu... you are fine

Well ordered the new videocard last night. Gonna give it a go with the PSU I have. Hoping it will do as well as everyone has said. sushi, not sure if you got a bad batch or what but I have had this power supply for 2 1/2 years or so and it has been great. Bought one for my dads rig (750w) and his has been fine too. I don't think that Corsair makes bad PSU's at all. I actually prefer Corsair if it is a reasonable price. Thank you all for all your help. I will let you know how it goes.
