do you not realize that Valve games are only distributed digitally through Steam, and even require Steam running to function (so even if you pick up a physical copy, you're still bound to Steam)?
how is that any more fair than EA disallowing distribution of their games through Steam when Valve disallows the sale/distribution of their games through another client such as Origin?
you have to realize how ridiculously silly it is to chastise EA for something Valve is just as guilty of, if not even more so.
I'm in favor of Steam if only because it got to me first and I have since established a large collection of titles through it, however if both services had been established brand new today, it wouldn't be hard to make a case that Origin is actually a superior client.
