Other than that very good cheap folder you have there.
I've looked around, but that ECO ram has a very low voltage, so im hoping to push it to 2133mhz cas9

EDIT: Added the revised build.

Well, see if you pull it off. I doubt it. 1600@1.35 is like 1866@1.5. We'll see though.

hi just got in to folding my self, how do i get it to use 100% cpu
i am just using the system tray version not the console one ?
want to do more all ready running my 560ti all day at 100% but want to get my cpu doing the same, tips ?
soz for the hijack
and if i were building a folding rig
i would go for i-3 and a 550ti for about the same money, and 1333 frequency ram , its cheaper and the overall performance will still be great, i no, not as much fun OC ing but cheaper
so how do i get my cpu to 100% usage ?

You start your own thread and don't hijack an existing one. People are going to need a lot more info than you've given to help you out.

sorry, though he might be able to help as he was building a folding computer therefore may no how to help,

and i offered my opinion on the subject as well,

i agree with you choice of ram, counter to other peoples suggestions
to further that, high end ram seems like an expensive place to put money on a folding pc, the difference on sandybridge is small
i refer you to http://www.anandtech.com/show/4503/s...-the-best-ddr3

hope the artical offers so interesting stuff
and once again soz for asking a question

2133mhz would be like 3K PPD more than 1600mhz RAM.

How does this list look guys?

I had that motherboard for 3 days, gave me trouble with overclocking so I returned it. For staying cheap you may want to go with the ASUS P8Z68-V LE, but if you can I'd go for the P8Z68-V or P8Z68-V pro.

I'd like to weigh in...a 2600k for a dedicated F@H rig is WELL worth the extra $100....if you want to maximize your PPD and increase the size of your epeen as quickly as possible

that would be awesome, love how this stuff is mostly better than my full gaming rig, but its for the greater good, so its all good, only really learnt about folding a few days ago, now have it one all my pc's,

i no your building a high power folding rig, but is it worth going to the tip/dump and getting a few really old pc's and seeing if it is possible to get a few of them folding, thought it could be my holiday project ?

i think what your doing is a great thing
