I'm running mine at 1680 x 1050 mate. It tends to hover around 40fps. Its very playable, havent seen it go lower than 30fps anymore...my 6950 is unlocked and running at 900 / 1400

+1 to this. I'm running it at 1920x1080. It hovers around 35fps but can have some low drops with all ultra with DX11. Just turning DX11 off alone shoots the FPS through the roof even with high texture pack.

My former 6970 ran it quite well.
Wonder how my little backup build would fair.

If your experiencing abnormal slowness, I hate to say it, but it could be a driver hiccup.
Maybe unstable OC.

1680x1050 isn't much lower than 1920x1080...that's around 1.7m pixels to 2.0m pixels repectively. That's not that big of a jump, atleast, not enough to make a large impact on performance.

I donno but I gain about 6-8fps in C2 lowering the rez to that just now.

My crysis2 spiked from 55 average to about 90 when I disabled tesselation in CCC. Try it out.

You want to know why Crysis 2 FPS is low? Because they did not optimize the game. They are wasting tessellation on unnecessary objects or models which we cannot see and water tessellation under the world map where the area doesn't even have water or maybe nearby a shore.
