Now that is cool

But i was thinking just a plain black keys with a very light blue under tone or maybe a very light red as well ... just for a fun accent u know??? (maybe a cheap 4 led might work ... idk how to tie that into the wire though ... hummm ..

And +1 to u too!!

Feel-wise there's little difference between the two, but the non-silent version will be very clicky sounding. Do a youtube search for Cherry Brown vs Cherry Blue to get a sense for the sound difference.

You may have a hard time finding a mech keyboard with that kind of backlight. Most backlit keyboards with Cherry keyswitches have the LEDs right under the keycaps.

Here's an example (Mionix Zibal 60):

And you can always order a blank set of keys from WASD for $40, or a custom color set for $50.

Or you can order the whole keyboard from WASD also... I think the semi custom ($119) should give you an all blank option and I think they are still having a 10% coupon for first keyboard purchase... no backlight but covers all your other requirements.

I think the 10% coupon has expired, correct me if that's not the case. It used to be GHFIRST10.

I would also recommend the o-ring addition, either pre-installed or getting them separately here and installing them yourself.

If you just want a nice glow maybe just buy a regular board and take it apart and add a couple lights to it? Not sure how hard it would be, but may be worth a look into.

"Otaku" means "nerd" in Japanese.
Since I'm Japanese so just to let you guys know.
It is a nerdy keyboard for sure, though.
