Three Laptops, which would you buy?

Thread Starter

Alright so I am purchasing a laptop soon.

I am looking into the following.

ASUS A6 APU $449.00
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/ASUS+-+L...ustomerreviews

Lenovo E420 $632.00 with code(Price includes Lenovo Sleeve)
http://shop.lenovo.com/SEUILibrary/c...72&action=init

Or, the Acer TimelineX for about $600 or so if I sell the free XBOX on ebay.

Please vote, and post any thoughts you have

I will be using the laptop for taking notes at school, watching movies, possibly playing games (depending on which one i get).

Basically I have the most confidence in the Lenovo, since I know it will be well built. The ASUS i know nothing about other than that its cheap (Cheap is good!) and the Acer looks like a nice gaming laptop for $600 but there are a lot of heat and throttling issues(which i could fix for the most part, with work) and i know the Acer to have an average, or below average screen.

If I overclocked the ASUS, do you think I could get good performance out of it?

If you going to game, go with the acer (dedicated gpu)

If gaming isn't a question, go with the ASUS .
