Thread Starter
hey guys its been a while since i built a new rig but am building a top of the line system. Im going with a ASUS P8P67 DELUXE and a Intel Core i7-2600

I play games from time to time but am not a crazy gamer but if i play a game i want it to handle the graphics with no problem on high settings and be some what future proof. what do you guys think about htis card?

This is a little over my budget but i hear its amazing. Is there any card thats better or equal for the same price/less. or is this over kill for my needs?

For a casual gamer, get something mid-range. This one has a different cooler and should handle future games too.

If your using the 19" screen in your sig, then a GTX 570 is more than enough. But, since your saying it's over your budget i'd recommend the GTX 560ti. They are beastly given their price bracket.

agreed. I purchased a 560ti hawk last week. 950mhz core right out of the box, performs close to a stock 570. has the twin frozr III cooler. hard to complain

Why do you need the Deluxe mobo? Go with the Pro and save some cash to put towards the card. Same goes with the 2600. Just because it's the most expensive does not mean it is the best for your needs.

I would second or third the 560ti, and recommend this model which is the best available currently IMO. If you do decide you want a 570 then post back here with that information because there are much better choices than the one you were looking at
