Did you try switching channels on the router? Also, wireless phones are another interference issue. If you're using 2.4ghz for wireless internet, then get 900mhz or 5ghz wireless phones. On 5Ghz, you have much more channels to use compared to 2.4Ghz.
Right now, I use a D-Link Wireless N dual band router. I have 5Ghz bridges for my media devices (Wii, PS3, satellite receiver, etc) that connect at my TVs. The 2.4Ghz is basically just N wireless that my iPhones, BlackBerry, laptop and All-in-one PC use. My router is upstairs and all my 2.4Ghz devices are used downstairs. The weakest signal is my All-in-one PC, but it still gets very fast transfers. Nothing to say I have any issues with loading pages at all or downloading large files.
This is what I use for my router and bridge. Bridge is set to 5Ghz for my connections, but its dual channel also, just one or the other:
