Registry.

Human readable config files are easier for troubleshooting, backing up, replicating settings to another machine, etc.

I think the first 2 option in the poll are the things that Microsoft should work more for this release, it is essential these days,to have a OS with no file fragmentation. regarding the registry,Microsoft need to start improving this and eventually eliminate this.

Let's have ONE version of Windoze. It should cost $80 and should be able to do everything. I'm really getting tired of blowing $300 for an OS that I only use for gaming. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that WINE is going to become robust enough to play DX11 games.

Windows 8 is a brand new OS, in production for 3 years or so. It should have at least half of these (not the DX 12 or anything) but simple things... Of course I understand it's hard to program, so here is an anti flamer statement:

It should have at least 2 not one, if you get what I am saying.

I would like it to be a overall improvement on 7. Like 7 did to Vista.

I can see and somewhat agree with 64 bit only. It does seem like a good idea.

...? Why are there 11 registry votes? Seriously, do you even know what the registry is, how it works? sa;dlfjdaslfj ARRRRR There is no major registry fix, there will never be one unless they remove the registry. They need to scrap NTFS, it's crap. I hope the new FS works better.

I voted for 64bit only. Thats not really to much of a issue but when a desktop you buy is capable of holding 8gb of ram and you can only use 2gb its annoying.

I think some of the security options should be changed. Some times you want to delete a folder like the windows update folders and it wont let you. Even when your a admin, you have to go threw a processes to make it so you can delete it.

windows 8 needs all of the options...except the price change. I wouldn't care if they made it more expensive even...As long as they use the bloody money to make a better OS!! (although windows 7 is pretty good)
