I know first hand that it won't affect your temps and in my case (seven bad blocks) the nickel particulates did not clog anything including the cpu (most common thing in a loop to get clogged).
To rma it, you need the original invoice, so contact the seller if you bought it used to see if they can help you. Depending on who is the retailer the block was originally purchased from, EK will let you know where to ship it to (I think they are still covering the shipping expenses, though check with EK support) if they approve your rma.
Good luck and you have alternatives if the rma does not go through. Some good ideas are to strip the nickel using a chemical stripper or sandblasting (you might have to consider getting this done professionally if you have no idea how to do so).
I already sent him a Pm and waiting on a response.I hope I don't have to strip or sand blast it.Thanks for the info any ways.Just might used it like this if rma wont work.
