URGENT!! Damaged Circuit ENGTX580 DCII - Page 2

It looks like it related to the display output on the PCB.. all the IC needs is connection again to function..it doesnt matter what its for.

Solder the legs back to the mobo .. there is no way to check for connection except to test function, as not all of the IC legs will have a path to ground [without it.. you wouldnt be able to tell if they were sufficiently connected, unless you know where they terminate to on the PCB to be able to test the path]

you sure that thing is falling off? it doesn't seem like anything is wrong with it in the picture. Also did you bend those heat-sink fins to get to that thing.

even thou it has 2 fans you will only see one fan in any software monitoring.

Display output?? Both DVI and HDMI works fine.. I havent checked the other one..
This is wat i am missing.. VID usage always stays on 0 fb usage stays max 1.0 and usually 0 and only see one fan to control and moitor GPU Usage less then 5 even when i whatch 1080p movies..
Im not sure if they are supose to be like that or if its the chip that fell apart.

Yes Im sure.. cause when I first found it was way off ..
I kinda pulled it to be on the right spot..
one side is totally disconnected.
When I see other people using GPU Tweak on the forum they all have 2 fans on the monitor and control...
http://www.asusrog.com/forums/showth...PU-Tweak/page2

Here you can see some screen shots with 2 fan monitor and control. and yes i use the same soft ware and tried different versions too

Two options of either soldering it back yourself if you're feeling adventurous or going through an RMA process. RMA is your best bet.....that or getting the AMD version

Keep hoping, seems like everyone is telling you the two options you have. Either way, good luck.
