Help setting up -bigadv on 2500k?? - Page 3

If you did everything as described in the guide, and you see "12 cores detected" when the fah client starts then you don't have to change anything.

If you see "8 cores detected" then open a terminal and so the following:

Code:
cd ~/fah
gedit corefix.sh
and change TARGET_NCPUS=8 back to 12

EDIT: Ninja'd

Cheers, so I can change that even thougjh im on a 2500k with only 4 cores, and it should start picking up bigbigadv units??

Do you not just need to put -bigbigadv flag on the fah client?

$ilent, that's what I did on my 2500k. I don't believe there's a -bigbigadv flag.

Did you change the TARGET_NCPUS=8 back to 12? Even if you did, the 6903/4 wu aren't a given. I've folded on the 2500k since the beginning of August switched to my 2600k after you came back to the team and I've only gotten 2 6903s. The rest were regular bigadv units. It's hit or miss.
