AMD's Deus Ex promo website not working

Thread Starter
www.amd.com/DeusExPromo does not exist apparently.

just registered my card with XFX and now their "personal activation code" doesn't work. slick way to avoid giving the games that come with the purchase.

Same crap has happened to me. Hopefully it is just not coming up until the game is out or something along those lines...

So I started a thread on amd forums, I will update here if anything comes out of that

http://forums.amd.com/game/messagevi...&enterthread=y

edit - I gotta tell you, being a web developer - seeing amd's website and security handling is...unsettling
May be time to go nVidia :/

You seem really pissed off. Why don't you send them an email. Is the game even out yet?

The redirect is taking me here:
http://sites.amd.com/us/game/shop/Pa...ndle.aspx.aspx

Take off the extra ".aspx" and you get this page:
http://sites.amd.com/us/game/shop/Pa...ex-bundle.aspx

Which is a proper promo page, but still has no way of entering any information.

You're a webdev too? I bet a single person maintains all this stuff and this is far down on his to-do list. People are going to raise a stink when this offer turns out to be borked

well the Deus Ex promo page is broken for me too, but I can confirm the 6950 that came with a free copy of Dirt3 and (supposedly) Deus Ex, works great

"Get into the action with a FREE copy of Deus Ex: Human Revolution™. Just buy any of the qualifying AMD products available from the participating retailers listed below to get your FREE copy from STEAM when the game is released on August 23rd!"

that quote is from the "correct" page address.

Looks like 3 day wait.

Removed all swearing.

Please remember that OCN is a professional website, and we require professional style posting. Swearing is not permitted, even though we do have a swear filter.

I did used this site, and I think it works...

There is an option of North America and Europe. (You need to choose where you bought from). I did bought from Europe so click that one. The next page will be asking you about your date of birth and country. After that on the left hand side Click the 'Qualifying Products' to see, if you have the correct product (In this case i bought HD 6950 so its good to go) then click 'Claim Form'

Fill the form, serial number is on your product box, after submitting they will ask about proof of purchase so you need to give them a screenshot about your product purchase (If you did order online, your retailer must have a website and if you log in that website you can also find the info about your order shipment, screenshot that). Then attach it to your mail that you want to send (in this case, they would tell you which email you should send).

Wait for few days of confirmation and VoilÃ*..

I may be wrong, but I think that this is just the way to get the promo voucher for the game in Europe. Not the actual steam key to download the game.

If you select Amazon (North America), you will see there's a message about that www.amd.com/DeusExPromo link.

My theory is that for now, you just can get the voucher, but the site for redeeming the code will be online when the game is released. (so you miss preorder bonus like the extra mission, weapons or the team fortress 2 items)
