Next upgrade?

Thread Starter
I seem to be stuck on what to do next. I could get another GTX560 Ti for SLI, or I could get a new keyboard (looking at a DAS Ultimate), or I could ???

I'm not going to get another mouse - I tried that and wasted $100 because it didnt feel right & went back to my old one. I already have a set of HD650's, so Im ok for headphones.

I really am stymied lol

PS
Im happy with my 2500k and cooling - the Hyper 212+ is perfectly happy keeping me cool @4.5GHz. I dont plan on pushing further, either

you could look into getting an SSD.
The SLI is a good idea as well but you will need a heavier duty PSU.
It'd recommend an 850 from seagate or corsair.

He has a SSD and the PSU would be fine.

Has the painting happened yet?

A monitor obviously. You have a real nice 22"er, so why don't you get another one, or another two of them for a nice 3way nvidia-eyefinity. There's nothing like more pixels to push you to upgrade the graphics card down the road, as it is now there's not much interest to get another 560Ti.

Dohh mis-read HD.
but i still stand by my recommendation of the 850.
the 650 may be fine but it still think it would be pushing it a bit if he decides to go for Crossfire.

I was going to mention Nvidia Surround, but he'd need two more monitors and another 560 Ti, which is a huge upgrade. An awesome upgrade, but still... Maybe just get one more U2211H for now.

ohh yeah, paint.. no, it hasnt yet, t-ramp.

PS
the flow of this thread is exactly my thought processes - arguing with one another lol
also, im fairly confident in my PSU handling another GTX560 Ti. this thing is rated for +20 amps for each of its 4 rails lol

ive been thinking of another ultrasharp, but i think i may get a LCD TV for that instead - you know, for the "put it on the big screen" thing lol
also, i watch alot of movies.

I really don't see any point of upgrading your rig at this moment unless there is a game you want to play but can't maxed it out without lag. Save the $$$ up and wait for ivy bridge + new gtx600 or radeon 7000 series. If you really wanted to upgrade, then I would definitely suggest a high-end leather chair ($200+) if you don't have one yet.

yea i agree with the chair
also, maybe a nice 7.1 or 10.2 surround would be insane

im not interested in surround, as i need a receiver to decode it + i already have a studio grade 2.1 system.

ive also got a nice chair - click the 'Paint It Black' link in my siggy

i think i may get a DAS keyboard and maybe some OPAMPs? idk- ill figure it out when i get home.
