Turning eye-finity on and off easier

Is there a program that will let me turn eyefinity on and off without having to go into CCC?

Obviously if you want to play games across three monitors you have to have it enabled but when I'm not gaming I like having the three "separate" monitors, its much easier to manage I find and I also like having the task bar only on the middle monitor.

Before when I had just the two monitors you could set up profiles in CCC and switch between them with hot keys to go from single to dual monitors but the profiles don't seem to save eyefinity and then you have to go through the whole "setup" process again.

besides that having three monitors so far is pretty sweet

The profiles save all my Eyefinity settings, although I'm not using bezel correction or crossfire.

Uh. I'm on an old CCC installation (10.5), but I think the procedure should be the same on the new ones.

First, make your extended group. Save that one as a profile. Now go create your eyefinity group, save that as another profile. Now you should be able to switch between the two. I know I can. Have you done this?

You should be able to just switch the profile you are in and chance pretty easily. just do what you did to set it up the first time, but for single display.

Once I enable eyefinity it doesn't take any of the hotkeys anymore, or wont let me change the profile in CCC. Maybe I'm just doing something wrong, Ill play around with it some more when I get home from work, I just assumed that when it didn't do anything it just wasn't a supported feature.

Hit the power buttons on the displays you want off. It will disable eyefinity. Turn 'em back on and eyefinity is on again.

Okay so I got the hot keys to work but now when I go from "eyefinity" to "three seperate monitors" it forgets what order the monitors are in, the middle and left ones get mixed up or whatever. Am I supposed to have the middle monitor plugged in a certain slot on my 6950 like a primary Port (I'm using two dvi and one mini dp to dvi adapter)? Or as long as all three are plugged in should it work.

You probably forgot to save the profile after arranging your displays. Arrange the displays in the order you want, save the profile, then try switching back and forth between your profiles. It should remember the order the screens are in when you set/switch profiles. Works perfectly on my machine.

In CCC it wont even let me arrange them in the order that they are in, if I try and drag them to the right spot it just puts them back the way they were before, but if I use windows utility for editing the order it works fine...
