In theory, yes. In actuallity it depends on your chip. Mine cant do 4ghz, im stuck at 3.7

20x200@1.4v is pretty much a given with most new chips, though it is a gamble and always will be.
if you cant get 4ghz,tighten ram timings and increase cpu-nb,the overclocking results may be better than just a 4ghz core clock.

Just do it and see if it's possible, lol.

The cooler will likely handle it, but the motherboard won't. It will fry as with pretty much all others who have taken x4s to 4Ghz on this mtoherboard. There is a high failure rate associated with weak 4+1 phase VRMs. The board is known for problem and I highly recommend that for the safety of you and your system that you avoid overclocking. See the links in my sig for more clarification (about VRMs & MOSFETs)

Yea. I've heard about the issues associated with that board. Bummer that MSI skimped on the power circuitry.

I decided to go with Gigabyte GA-870A-UD3 so will i have any problems overclocking my CPU with this motherboard ?
Thanks

8+2 VRM design is better. However, the voltage regulators don't have a heatsink on them. That doesn't exactly scream "massive overclocking potential."

read the reviews. Lots of people complaining about the Ethernet port dying. Reliability is hit or miss.
