New PC, won't boot, BIOS not beeping.

Okay, so here's the deal. I built my first ever computer on last sunday, and it was working all fine and dandy.

Here are the specs:
ASUS M479XTD Evo motherboard
AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition CPU w/ CPU Fan
GeForce GT520 Silent edition graphics card
LC-Power 560W Green Power 80+ PSU
Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB 3.5" 8.9ms SATA2 7200RPM 32MB HDD
LG GH22NSRB 22X Optical Disc Drive
4 x 2GB 1600mhz Kingston RAM

But then, after 3 days of using my brand new PC, it first started freezing up with BSoDs and after that it just wouldn't boot. I thought it might be a problem with my Windows 7 so I re-installed it but it didn't help. After turning the power on the fans were spinning but no beeps from BIOS.

So then I flipped the PC on it's side and turned the power on. It started up just fine. Then I put the PC back to it's original positiong (standing upright) and it froze again. After that it wouldn't boot even on it's side.

After that, I took out all the RAM and I heard a Long Beep followed by 2 short beeps, indicating that no memory was installed. I plugged in just one stick of RAM, a PS2 Keyboard and my monitor but still no luck.

I then proceeded to reset my BIOS settings by disconnecting the jumper for 10 minutes and then setting it back. It let me turn on the computer, but again, it froze after I had tilted it upright.

Then, I tightened my CPU Fan to the socket it was supposed to be in. Again, same result, the PC booted up but when I turned it upright it wouldn't boot at all with no BIOS sounds.

So yeah, I've pretty much outruled everything except for PSU and the HDD. Are there any ways to test the PSU, because I don't have a spare one I could try on my build. Also, do you think this could all be because of a corrupt/broken HDD?

re-seat all of your PCI devices.

Does your motherboard has any display that shows a post code? Did you overclock any of your component, CPU, RAM, etc? What kind of case is your system in and what kind of CPU cooling?

Also, if you fill out your profile with your rig information, will help use to see what all you got.

Usually orientation related issues are caused by shorts. (from something touching where it shouldn't)

I've seen it where boards had to be pulled out and remounted to solve it.

Take a listen (close to your motherboard) when your PC is upright, and see if you can hear anything.
