Was this specific to folding or a general article? While memory speed above 1600 gets you few gains in most games/software, folding is very hard on memory.

I think I will stick with the higher speed because it is only a $40 difference. Thanks for the info though.

I have seen people reporting over a minute reduction in TPF between ddr3 1600 and ddr3 2133. I think it is worth it.

then he can drop it to 1666 and get timing down.

i got that exact same ram pack for $75 during a sale. really nice ram.

My 2¢

The 4GB of ram at 2133 is enough, it's what I have in my 2600K folding rig, only 2.1GB is in use for folding bigbigadv.

You may want to check out one of the rasa watercooling kits as they work nicely and aren't much more than the H100.

You may want a different mobo as the P8Z68-V LE only has 4 VRM, spending a bit more on a z68 board is justifiable as it saves ~40 a year on electricity.

The case is fine, but the fractal arc midi is cheaper and will fit a 240mm radiator at the top.
