PC360s for half price... Worth it?

Thread Starter
So I can get the PC360s for half price with my employee discount.

But I'm not sure it's worth it. I'm not a huge audiophile (probably gonna get run out of here with torches and pitchforks now ) but I want to have decent quality headphones.

I have Steelseries Siberia V2 headphones right now, and no sound card (and i don't plan on investing into one right now, since they seem pretty pricey for a good one).

I'm mainly gonna be gaming, but I listen to music all the time when I'm at my computer. I don't do any editing or anything super audio demanding either.

With that in mind Is it worth upgrading to the PC360s? Am I notice any difference in quality? . I was considering the ADH700s but they come to the same price sans a mic (Canadian prices, the deal amazon has for them here isn't quite as good).

I have a set of 360's, went from failtality creative headset to a set of 205's (DJ headset) to the 360's and I paired them with an ASUS Xonar card. They are pretty damn awesome, they may not rank up to some other headsets but they are the crème de la crème when it comes to headsets with attached microphones. I listen to everything from classical (Mozart, etc.) to all types of rap, rock, and electronic music and they are a very good all around headset.

The sound quality on the mic is phenomenal, although I talk softly so I had to use the mic boost to get a reasonable volume level.

The sound card made a big difference in the quality.

Well I'm convinced. Gonna pick em up when my shift is done.

Any one know if the built in sound card on the P8P67 is any good?

For half price definitely a bargain. Enjoy your new headset.

I dont have experience with the P8P67 onboard sound, but users say it does have nice performance.

Oh definite. I'd pick up a soundcard while you are at it.

I understand the word "soundstage" after I have my PC360
8 CLEAR directional sound cue (even with my asus DG),
in bc2, blk ops, crysis2, arma2 ...etc.
When listen to soundtrack ...like, Star Wars? I need some time to pace my mind,
that's why I won't listen to soundtrack before sleep after the first time.
Hurry! Go get one

@Shrimpykins
Would you tell me how much better if I upgrade my DG to ... let's say xonar xense?
Could it be like 50% better in quality?
Thank you very much in advance.
